On Thursday
evening, March 25th, the Lafayette
Homeowners Council is having a General
Meeting (Lafayette Community Center's
Sequoia Room, 7:30 p.m.). Mayor Brandt
Andersson will speak on trying to balance a
strained City budget with our many needs.
Former Mayor Don Tatzin will address
the process and impacts of the Revised Draft
Downtown Specific Plan, and on the pros and
cons of Lafayette becoming a
Charter City. Learning more about
what a Lafayette Charter City would be like
is especially important.
The LHC Board
(all volunteers), representatives of
homeowners and homeowners associations (all
volunteers), City Council (all volunteers),
City staff, and other civic groups (many of
which are volunteers) will be on hand. The
public is welcome. We ALWAYS have very
lively
questions and answers throughout.
Please come to have your questions answered
and to make your opinions known. Learning
more about what a Lafayette Charter City
would be like is especially important.
